Hello! “Give thanks to the Lord for His love endures forever.” 2 Chronicles 20:21. Today is a bittersweet day for us. We received our visas to Brazil! We are giving thanks to God for His perfect timing but at the same time realizing what it means to be leaving.
As we sit back and reflect over the last few weeks, we can see how God worked things out for His glory. This past weekend held the last engagement that we had planned in a church. Don had the opportunity to preach at a church in Missouri. Also, two weeks ago, God allowed us the privilege to drive Dawn’s father back to New Mexico after he spent time with his mother in South Dakota. Now, we can go to Brazil knowing that we fulfilled all of our speaking engagements and promises. We are praising God for His perfect timing!!!
We don’t have any details to share with you about when we will be leaving. As soon as we know more details, we will send out another e-mail. Please keep us in your prayers as we say our final “see you laters” and as we prepare to travel. Our next step will take us to language training in southern Brazil in a city called Ribeiroa Preto.
We want to thank each of you for your prayers about our visas. Now that God has answered this prayer, we hope that you will give Him thanks and praise!
Prayer requests:
1.) Please pray for our two daughters and our son-in-law as they go through the upcoming transitions.
2.) Pray for safety in our travel to Brazil.
3.) Pray for Don and Dawn’s upcoming transitions.
4.) Please pray for the people in Brazil that we will encounter and that we will have opportunities to share the Gospel with them.

Boy with Cancer Please pray for Malachi who is a seven year old boy with cancer. His cancer was in remission for a year and a half after having a bone marrow transplant but now it is back and very bad. He is having to take chemo treatments this week.
