*How To Be Saved

What do you have to do to be saved?

Your lIfe has only two choices
     You can live in chains or you can live a life of freedom.

When you die there are only two choices
     You can spend eternity in Hell or you can have everlasting life in Heaven

1. You must admit you are a sinner and be willing to change

By our own actions we are separated from God
     "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23

Our actions have determined our fate but God does not desire that we suffer those consequences
     "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" Romans 6:23

2. You must believe Jesus died on the Cross and arose on the Third day

Jesus died for us on the Cross so that we might be saved
     "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
John 3:16

What you must do now is believe that Jesus died for you and rose on the third day and you will be saved
9"If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."   Romans 10:9-10

3. You must pray to confess your sins, ask God to forgive you, and to ask Jesus to become the Lord of your Life.

DEAR JESUS, I AM A SINNER. I BELIEVE YOU ARE THE SON OF GOD AND DIED FOR MY SINS ON THE CROSS. FORGIVE ME ALL OF MY SINS. JESUS, I REPENT AND I WILL CHANGE. I ASK YOU TO HAVE MERCY ON ME, A SINNER, AND COME INTO MY LIFE. GIVE ME YOUR SPIRIT AND YOUR POWER. HELP ME TO FOLLOW AND OBEY YOUR COMMANDMENTS, AND TO LIVE FOR YOU. JESUS, I GIVE YOU MY LIFE. THANK YOU FOR HEARING MY PRAYER. THANK YOU FOR COMING INTO MY LIFE. I ASK IT IN THE NAME OF MY LORD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST. AMEN.
